We have have been lucky enough to photograph some fantastic weddings, for fantastic couples across the North East in 2014. This summer wedding in North Yorkshire was a prime example. Danielle and Ste's wedding was at St Mary-the-Virgin church in Nunthorpe followed by a reception at Grinkle Park, a beautiful venue on the North Yorkshire Moors near Whitby. After meeting up with Danielle and Ste to discuss their wedding photography we were delighted when they booked us for their special day. An amazing couple with great plans for their day we were so excited for this wedding and when the day came we certainly weren't disappointed.

With the sun out, the rhododendrons in full bloom at Grinkle Park, and this wonderful couple, the day couldn't have been more perfect. We love being photographers!

I had visions of this being one of the shortest marriages in history when magician Paul Lytton encouraged Danielle to plunge this knife into Ste's throat.  Danielle was easily persuaded that everything would be fine, Ste less so.  Thankfully it was fine, I mean, can you imagine the mess it would have made of that dress if it had gone wrong!

What wedding day is complete without a bit of unicycling! What could possibly go wrong? Well, everything I suppose but it could make for some good photo opportunities so when we spotted that the groom had left it at home we threw it in the back of the car.  And as everybody knows, having a few drinks makes you dead good at unicycling! No wedding guests were seriously injured in the making of these images.
